Sankofa Summer Dance Concert - Friday, June 27 at 8pm, The Rand Theater

A true festival for the senses, the culminating program of The Sankofa Festival and inaugural Sankofa Summer Dance Intensive was a fusion of jazz, funk, hip hop, African dance, and modern technique. This dynamic performance by students of the Sankofa Dance Project Summer Dance Intensive was choreographed by George Faison. The concert also featured guest performances by Jon Hendricks and Maurice Chestnut.
