Summer Dance Intensive with Chuck Davis(June 20-27, 2009) 

Stafford Berry Jr. (African American Dance Ensemble), Amaniyea Payne (Muntu Dance Theater), Abdel Salaam (Forces of Nature) and Marilyn Sylla (Bamidele Dancers & Drummers) will join award winning African Dance Master CHUCK DAVIS teaching at the Sankofa Dance Project Summer Intensive 2009.  Students will learn various African dance styles and their contemporary expressions.  The final dance concert, a new staging of Davis' BLUE GRASS/BROWN EARTH, will take place at the Fine Arts Center Concert Hall Saturday, June 27th at 7pm.
