The Sankofa Dance Project is passionate about documenting all of our activites to the best of our ability. We are thrilled to have worked with wonderful media artists including:

• Nafis Azad, our resident photographer, who has a passion and exceptional eye for dance photography and who has been enormously giving of his time and talents.
• Yvonne Mendez and Rafael Jordan, of 123 Visual Concepts who documented through video both Ron K. Brown's Exodus at Bowker Hall on the UMass Amherst campus and George Faison's Respect Project performance at Springfield Technical Community College.
• Filmmaker Julie Akeret who, with the support and assistance of Springfield MA public televison station WGBY, has created a documentary film on the Sankofa Dance Project Inagural Summer Dance Intensive with George Faison.
• WGBY has been more than generous with their equipment, facilities and staff. Without the supporrt of the station and general manager, Rus Peotter, the Sankofa Documentary would not have come to fruition.
